Rai spent most of her life in England, starting in Lancashire during her childhood and later settling in London. The woodlands and their natural habitats became her sanctuary, where she felt like a free-spirited explorer and adventurer. These memories from Rai’s childhood remain close to her heart.
London, in stark contrast to Rai’s Lancashire upbringing, offered a vibrant tapestry of history, creativity, and magic. Its Shakespearian heritage, world-class museums, and enchanting live theatres captivated her. But Rai’s ancestral roots extend even farther—to India, a place that holds a special place in her heart.
During her travels through India, she encountered breathtaking landscapes. One memory stands out vividly: a glimpse of an incredibly beautiful waterfall nestled in the heart of an unexplored jungle on her journey from Goa to Chennai. The flavoursome food she tasted there was unlike any other Asian cuisine she had experienced—it was simply better.
And then there was the Taj Mahal, a Wonder of the World. But what truly charmed her wasn’t just its architectural grandeur; it was the romantic love story that carved its existence into history.
When she was eleven, full of youthful curiosity, her mother, and she, embarked on a memorable trip through the mountainous regions of the north. Hidden mystical places revealed themselves to them, leaving indelible imprints on their hearts.
These origins—of woodlands, bustling cities, exotic landscapes, and cherished memories—are woven into the fabric of Rai’s being. They shape who she is and continue to inspire her journey.

Rai introduces her inaugural female superhero, naming her “Luana, the Blue Spirit.” In her writing, she delves into the dual identity of the Blue Spirit: both as the Princess of Erinworld and as a human imbued with the essence of the water Blue Spirit. The mystical Bluefly creatures play a crucial role, granting her renewed vitality and energy.

The Bluefly is a rare and mythical creature, with multiple members of its kind existing in the Seven Worlds. While they may have a limited role in the novel, they hold immense importance for Luana, also known as the Blue Spirit. Their unique abilities profoundly impact Luana’s life and play a crucial part in her journey.
The Author’s Vision
My imagination was ignited by a powerful vision of a princess, a dragon, and hidden passages. I brought this vision to life in a novel series called “The Eyes of Goliath”. The story is set in a mystical and ancient land, replete with vast territories and a hidden, deeper mystery that gradually unfolds through the characters. It is a fascinating fantasy that captivates readers with its thrilling adventures, intrigue, humour, and mystery. The story begins in “The Seven Worlds”, and my vision was that with Luana by his side, Erik would become the man he needed to be. Together, they would confront their inner demons and outer enemies to restore their rightful kingdom, Erinworld, that had fallen before their eyes. However, the path to restoring the Seven Worlds’ reign is fraught with obstacles, requiring bravery, hope, and resilience in the face of adversity. Will their efforts be in vain, or will they serve a greater purpose? Thus, a great epic series called “The Eyes of Goliath” is written, captivating readers with its vivid imagery, thrilling plot, and unforgettable characters.
