Rai grew up in the quiet landscapes of Lancashire, where woodlands became her sanctuary. She wandered like a young explorer, collecting memories that still shape her imagination today.
London Life
Later, London offered a different kind of magic — history, creativity, and the pulse of a city alive with stories. Its theatres, museums, and Shakespearian heritage stirred her curiosity in new ways.
Roots in India
Rai’s ancestral roots reach to India, a place that holds deep meaning for her. During her travels, she witnessed breathtaking landscapes — including a hidden waterfall deep in the jungle on a journey from Goa to Chennai. The flavours, colours, and warmth of India left a lasting imprint.
A Wonder of the World
The Taj Mahal captivated her not only for its beauty, but for the love story that shaped its existence — a reminder that emotion and history are inseparable.

At eleven, she travelled with her mother through the mountains of northern India. Mystical places revealed themselves to them, leaving memories that still echo through her writing.

These origins — woodlands, cities, distant landscapes, and cherished moments — form the tapestry of who Rai is. They continue to inspire her voice, her imagination, and the worlds she creates.
The Rajput Daughter’s Scroll
She comes from Rajput lineage — a daughter of noble land‑keepers who lived with honour, dignity, and quiet strength. Their stories, their values, and the way they carried themselves shaped the way she saw the world.
She felt a natural pull toward the sword, the hero, the heroine, and the battle — not because she lived those things, but because they lived in the people who came before her.
In the simple adornments worn by the women of her clan, she found the early shapes of the Stones of Power. And in the farmlands her ancestors tended with care, she imagined the worlds where honour, love, conspiracy, and conflict would unfold.
Erinworld grew from these memories — not as a claim of greatness, but as a reflection of where she comes from.

Each Bluefly carries a unique, life‑giving energy, and their abilities play a crucial role in Luana’s transformation. They renew her strength, restore her vitality, and guide her through the challenges that shape her destiny.
